Jacqueline Jimenez
Jacqueline Jimenez is an accomplished musician whose diverse talents encompass Classical, Broadway, Pop, and Opera. With a rich educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a major in Voice from the Adventist University of the Philippines and a Master's degree in Music, also majoring in Voice, from the Philippine Women's University, Jacqui has built a formidable foundation for her career in the arts. Her musical journey is characterized by her deep commitment to choral music. From 2001 to 2007, she lent her voice as an Alto 1 member of the AUP Ambassadors, where she honed her skills in vocal harmony and performance. Following that, from 2008 to 2013, she was an integral part of The Philippine Madrigal Singers, performing as an Alto 1/Soprano 2. This prestigious ensemble is known for its excellence in choral artistry and has played a significant role in shaping her musical identity. She was also a part of the trio, the Nightingales for a couple of years while in the group. In 2014, she moved to the US to get married and start her family life and they’re now blessed with two lovely kids. Influenced by Minerva Arit-Penaranda, Mary Ann Lanuzo, and Mercedez Dugan, Her style blends classical techniques with modern sensibilities, allowing her to connect with a wide array of audiences. Her ability to navigate different genres with ease makes her a sought-after performer in various musical settings. In addition to her performance career, she is passionate about sharing her love for music through teaching and community engagement. Currently working as a Recreation Assistant, she leads programs in Music, Arts, and Movement for seniors, fostering creativity and joy in the lives of older adults. Through her work, she continues to inspire and uplift others, showcasing the transformative power of music all to the glory of God!
