LALÒ Immersive brings Filipino-American choral music to Apple Vision Pro through the performances of the LALÒ Ensemble.
LALÒ is a San Francisco CA based Filipino-American choir built around music, culture, collaboration, and the belief that choral performance can feel deeply personal even across distance. Its name comes from the Tagalog word LALÒ, meaning more, further, and greater, a reflection of the ensemble’s desire to carry Filipino voices into new spaces.
Designed for Apple Vision Pro, the app combines Apple Immersive Video, Spatial Audio, photogrammetry-based venue recreations, behind-the-scenes moments, and spatial music sheets to place you inside the performance.
Created by Paolo Villanueva, a tenor, musician, product designer, developer, photographer, film maker and creative technologist working at the intersection of liberal arts and technology.

Watch the LALÒ Ensemble perform in Apple Immersive Video, designed for the intimacy and presence of Apple Vision Pro.
Captured with the *Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive, a cinema camera designed for Apple Immersive Video and Apple Vision Pro, the performance places you inside the room with the ensemble.
A spatial music sheet when available can accompany the experience, giving you a new way to listen, follow, and feel the music from inside the ensemble.
Performances are also captured in 180, 360 video and stereoscopic 4K when available.

Step into the shape of the sound.
Using third-order and higher-order ambisonic spatial audio, LALÒ Immersive places you within the ensemble and the room around them. Voices carry direction. Harmonies bloom with depth. The acoustics of each venue become part of the performance.

Each LALÒ performance venue is scanned through photogrammetry and recreated as an immersive 3D environment for Apple Vision Pro. Architectural details, lighting, textures, and scale are carefully rebuilt so you can explore the space that shaped the performance.
